Is Grace a License to Sin?

Is Grace a License to Sin?

People tend to raise walls when it comes to Grace. Many think that being under Grace means a License to sin. One simple question? What License do I need? Drivers License, Photoshop License, Computer License, Trading License or a Fishing License….that is just plain absurd, if you haven’t noticed yet but people sin without a license!

Many people think that when I talk about Grace that I am saying its a licence to sin or to do whatever they want because we are under Grace and no longer under the law and its 10 commandments, (See Rom 6:14, Rom 7:6) well let’s see what Paul says, Romans 6:1-2

6 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace might increase?

2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

NASB

The law cannot teach us to deny ungodliness…it only exposes your deficiencies and lack and shortcomings and makes you sin more and more! Through the law comes the knowledge of sin. Jesus has fulfilled the law (the 10 commandments, ceremonial Law and Law of demands) when someone has knowledge of sin they not under Grace, knowledge of sin shows we are still under the law, Christ has fulfilled it, we no longer under law but grace. Rom 3:20 In Galatians chapter 1-5 Paul rebuked the Galatians for going from Grace back to the law! Today there’s so many people that think we are still under law (while Christ has delivered us from it), and the worst of all is Pastors is preaching it and encouraging it! Putting people under a yoke and bondage We cannot balance law with grace! Preach a little bit law and preach a little bit grace! When you do this, you neutralizing Grace and Christ is no effect to you, when you preach law, people going to sin more! that’s how you start a revival of sin (see 1 Cor 15:56) the law stirs sin….preach Grace and people will sin no more, be victorious, rule and reign like a king and prosper. Only when you have a revelation of the finish work of Jesus will you appreciate His Grace and start living under Grace, when you do not have you keep on falling on self-righteousness, works and the law, trying to keep the law (613) which is unkeepable and will fail in everything. The law was never given for man to keep! the law is not keepable, in 2000 years no one was able to keep it, God gave the law to show man he needs a savior, when you and I under the law it is a compulsive whole, can’t just keep what you like, there are 613 laws to keep, you break one, you break them all. The law makes you sin-conscious, it is a slap in Father God’s face saying ” the sacrifice of your only Son isn’t enough for my sin” let’s not be sin conscious but be Jesus conscious. Isn’t it funny that many Christians say that Grace is there to help them keep the Law so that they won’t sin? These people have really missed it!… Grace is not there to help you be righteous by your works… Grace is there to make you righteous WITHOUT having to do works!” this is for the legalists (Our biggest challenge will not come from the world but from those who share the same heavenly Father but have a different mother. Sarah – Grace or Hagar – Law.) Old covenant of LAW is a flesh covenant. If you are under the LAW, you are walking in the flesh. The new covenant of Grace is a Spirit covenant. If you are under grace, you are walking in the spirit. Under the law, you are slaves of sin, BUT, if you are under grace, YOU ARE SLAVES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. Romans 6:18. I am a prisoner of righteousness. Jesus became sin who knew no sin for us to become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Titus 2:11-13, 11 for the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

12 instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,

13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus;
