The truth about 'confession of sins'

My question is if Apostle Paul was supposed to write on confession of sin in his 13 books, why didn’t he write then a few Chapters on you must confess your sins in order to be forgiven or just one verse? If he was supposed to he has done us greatly wrong, because I can’t find it in any of his books...

If confession of sin is necessary & important for the church, then Paul, who under the inspiration & instruction of Jesus Christ wrote 3/4 of the New Testament has done us a great injustice. Because he never mentions it once!!!!! One would think he would have told the church @Corinth to repent & confess their sins to receive forgiveness as John mentions in his epistle! Yet instead, Paul reminds the saints of their righteousness & who they are in Christ and reminds them that they are the: "Temple of the Holy Spirit"!

Paul was sent specifically to preach to the Gentiles, BUT James & John & Peter were sent to the Jews -John was helping the Jews who were used to confession, and Gnostics to understand that when Jesus's blood cleanses us, He really washes us! We are justly forgiven completely & totally when once we come to Jesus, confess our sins at the Cross! At the Crossroads!

Paul wrote in His Letter to the Ephesians that we are FORGIVEN according to Grace. Ephesians 1:7-8

7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace,

8 which He lavished upon us. In all wisdom and insight

NASB

Colossians 1:13-14

13 For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,

14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

NASB

Sins = plural, its everything from the moment you were born till the day you die

Colossians 2:13-14

13 And when you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions,

14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

NASB

My question is whether the Church currently has a doctrine that they teach that is unbiblical that goes as follows. You are only forgiven of the sin that you have committed once confessed, so every time you sin you must confess that sin! Absolutely rubbish. If true, let me use an example! Mr. Pastor drives into town and passed by a beautiful lady but when he looked at her, he had the wrong intentions and wrong thoughts. While driving further he gets involved in a car accident and dies. He never had the chance to confess that sin so he goes to hell because that sin is not confessed? Absolutely not, he is in heaven! This subject can go so much further and deeper. If you want to be serious about confession of sin you will be busy confessing from morning till noon. Sin is sin. There is no such thing as a big sin and a small sin. Adultery is treated the same way as talking a lie. Murder is treated the same way as gossiping. And for all sins, Jesus was punished, beaten, and scourged to death for you and me. This doctrine the Church teaches is not biblical. There are only two scriptures in the New Testament that speaks of confession of sins 1). James 5:16

16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

NASB

Firstly read slowly, it says: confess your sins to one another. Notice not God! It means when I have done something to offend my brother in Christ, or I hurt him by doing something he didn’t like I must go and sort out the trouble. Now Daniel what about 1John 1:9? Hold your horses, I’m getting there. 1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

NASB

Was 1 John written after or before the books of Paul? It was written after, about 30-60 years after, and an interesting thing is you never find Paul speaking on confession of sin...if Paul should have written on confession of sin then has done us wrong and then God would have never allowed his books to be put in the bible....but God did cause God doesn’t want you to be sin conscious! Ok let’s say theologians are wrong with what they say, the word confess in 1 john 1:9 has been so misinterpreted for years! In the original Greek, it is homologeō....which means to agree with God or to say the same thing with God, the only thing that you can agree today with God is Heb 8:12 That He remembers your sins no more, that your sins past, present, and future has been forgiven! Agree with God, say the same as Him, He dealt with all your sins on the cross!!!! AMEN...WE ARE FORGIVEN not according to our pathetic confession but according to the riches of His Grace Eph 1:7

If this verse is written for believers then Jesus’ finished work is of no value and then sin is inferior to Jesus and His finished work. Firstly Paul teaches us that a believer is righteous by faith and not works. See Rom 1:17. Once we get born again we are created in righteousness and can never lose it. Ephesians 4:24

24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

NASB

Daniel Prophesied and said the Messiah that will come will bring everlasting righteousness. Daniel 9:24

24 "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place.

NASB

A believer has everlasting righteousness! You and I cannot be righteous one moment and the next moment be unrighteous. Hallelujah, thank you Jesus for your finished work. Now you might say “Daniel so what do I do now when I have sinned because this is what religion has taught me all the years”? Now listen, when you have done something wrong, and let me just make myself clear once and for all, I’m against sin, but when you have done something wrong remember this: Romans 8:1

8 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

NASB

If you are a believer, then you are in Christ. So when you have done something wrong just say

The Bible does not contradict itself unless scripture is taken out of its context.

Confession of sins is Catholicism and not the Gospel

Thank you, Jesus, for that sin I just committed, You were beaten, scourged, and punished so that I don’t have to be punished or beaten or be condemned. Thank You that I am forgiven according to the riches of your Grace and I receive it in Jesus's Name
